Produced by the well-established Käserei Altenburger Land cheese dairy in Thüringen since 1897. In 2013, for the third time, the Käserei Altenburger Land cheese dairy was awarded the "Bundesehrenpreis", a German federal honorary award for excellent food products. Der Grüne Altenburger is the best-selling soft goat´s cheese in Germany. All products are without colouring, preservatives, flavourings, gluten and free of lactose.
